Annie Walker, new program coordinator at the Limberlost State Historic Site in Geneva, has quickly gained deep appreciation for Gene Stratton Porter in two dimensions. As a natural outdoors person, Walker loves the pioneer outdoor spirit that Porter initiated while she lived in her beloved Limberlost swamp area around Geneva.
Walker also enjoys the musical, pictorial fine arts side of Porter as exhibited in the musical conservatory room of the late author's home in Geneva.
