Two long-time Huntington County residents who have worked tirelessly on behalf of the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce were honored before a record crowd during the chamber's 87th annual dinner meeting on Monday, Jan. 17.
The evening's awards went to Bob Zahm, who was named volunteer of the year for 2010, and Gene Snowden, who was honored as ambassador of the year.
Each was presented a plaque by Seth Marshall, who would normally have been installed as chairman of the board at the annual meeting. Marshall, however, stepped into the chairman's role six months early when his predecessor in that position, Joel Jerabek, was transferred to Texas in his position with United Technologies Electronic Controls.....
