Chamber of Commerce celebrates year of great achievements

A large contingent of area business representatives gathered at Swiss Village Auditorium on Tuesday evening to hear reports of business progress and celebrate success in the local community.
With the local chamber's mission statement never far away, Chamber leaders passed out awards and gave reports that reflected the motto, "to promote quality of life through economic vitality and family values."
"This has been quite a year for our community," said the chamber's new executive director, Sheree Barkley. "We've seen the dedication of the clock tower and the progress on the Muensterberg Plaza, changes in many area businesses and changes in the local chamber.....
