Decatur Daily Democrat:
First it was freezing rain. Then it was snow. All the while, winds were roaring.
What it all amounted to was yet another blast of winter weather for Decatur and Adams County residents on Monday.
City weather station officials measured four inches of snow, boosting the city's total for the season to 34 inches.
Streets and sidewalks became slick late Monday morning as the freezing rain fell. Then, early in the afternoon, snow began to fall and pile up on the ice. There were a few slide offs in the area — including a North Adams school bus — but no major mishaps and/or injuries were reported....
