IHSAA announces high school reclassifications for next 2 years

The Indiana High School Athletic Association has announced new school classifications for member schools for the 2011-12 and 2012-13 school years.

As part of the classification review, the IHSAA also announced new soccer classifications that will begin for the next school year. The classifications apply only to state tournaments, and not to regular season or conference competition.

Huntington North High School will remain in 5A for football; 4A for baseball, basketball, softball and volleyball; and will be part of the larger class size for soccer. HNHS is currently, and will stay part, of the largest classes in each area.....
