Decatur Daily Democrat:
MONROE—At this point in the season, said Adams Central head coach Aaron McClure after Saturday's 64-37 win over Eastside, you want to be playing your best for several reasons:
•The sectionals loom and, for AC, there will be a challenge with Bluffton and Bishop Luers as potential opponents.
•The Allen County Athletic Conference race is not yet decided and the Flying Jets are 4-2, with one team left to play (South Adams).
•One more win will ensure that the 2010-11 season will be a winning one, since the Jets are 10-6. That's a long way back from 0-20 three years ago.
McClure pronounced himself satisfied that the Jets are playing well based on their slow-to-start, fast-to-finish defeat of the lowly Blazers (3-13)....
