Ind. panel gives initial OK to new deer rules
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A set of proposed changes to Indiana's deer-hunting rules has won a state panel's preliminary approval.
The Indiana Natural Resources Commission gave the suggested changes its early endorsement Tuesday. In November, state officials withdrew an earlier proposal after complaints that it would shrink the firearms and muzzle-loading seasons from 16 days to nine days....(more)
