New fund will aid NA students

Officials of North Adams Schools have established the North Adams School Fund (NASF) within the Adams County Community Foundation to offer assistance and support to needy local students who attend NACS schools.
Wylie Sirk, North Adams school superintendent, said in a news release, "The discussion for the fund began last school year. Since 2008, our community has witnessed a growing concern for families which have experienced serious financial challenges.....
