Banks to be sworn in Nov. 16

Columbia City resident Jim Banks will be officially sworn in as one of the newest members of the Indiana Senate, representing the District 17, on Tuesday, Nov. 16.

The swearing-in ceremony will be conducted by Supreme Court Justice Randall Shepard in the Statehouse Senate Chamber, in Indianapolis.

Banks, a graduate of Columbia City High School, earned a degree in political science from Indiana University in Bloomington.....
