Deer at the door

Decatur Daily Democrat:

"It was wild!" — literally and figuratively.
That was the reaction by Zack Gagle, an employee of Eichhorn Jewelry in downtown Decatur, about 20 minutes after he witnessed a medium-sized deer, a doe, with her front hooves up on the top of the front door glass.
Gagle said he was in the rear of the business, at 130 N. Second St., when he heard noises and came to the front door to see the deer leaning against it at about 9:15 a.m. on Thursday. The doe left a lot of saliva on the glass, but did no damage. The saliva was easily wiped away.....
