Augustine to assume 122nd lead

Huntington County Tab:

Col. David L. Augustine will assume command of the 122nd Fighter Wing, based at Baer Field in Fort Wayne, in January.

Augustine will succeed Col. Jeffrey A. Soldner, who plans to retire. Soldner has served as commander of the 122nd Fighter Wing since 2004. He joined the Indiana Air Guard in 1972 while attending Purdue University.
Augustine currently serves as vice wing commander of the 127th Wing, based at Selfridge Air National Base in Michigan.

The 122nd Fighter Wing has also been selected to be a part of a new task force designed to react in the event of an attack using weapons of mass destruction.....
