Bishop Dwenger jumped out to a 29-21 lead at the half and then held off a late Bellmont rally to post a 47-39 non-conference girls varsity basketball win at the Teepee Tuesday night.
It was opening night of the season for the Squaws who had to push back the start of their girls season due to the state championship volleyball run. The fact that "we're still not in basketball shape" and "first game jitters" were noted as factors in the BHS loss by coach Tory Fuelling....
