GERMANFEST—June 6-13, Headwaters Park, a variety of events. Family Fest, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 12. Main Festival tent open 11 a.m. to midnight on Wednesday and Thursday and 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, admission is $2 until 5 p.m. and $5 after 5 p.m., featuring a variety of entertainment. Kiddie rides from noon to 8 p.m. daily. Face painting and balloon sculpting noon to 9 p.m. daily. Opening concert on Sunday, June 6, 4:30 to 9 p.m. at Park Edelweiss, 3355 Elmhurst Dr., FW. FW’S SCIENCE CENTRAL EVENTS
HUBBLE SPACE TELESCOPE—New views of the universe with this traveling exhibit, through Aug. 29. This exhibit contains images and video taken from the Hubble Space Telescope of planets, galaxies, black holes and many other fascinating cosmic entities. Developed by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center.
