There was a time when newly appointed South Adams school superintendent Scott Litwiller was thinking of dropping out of college and returning to the family farm to work with his father, Bob Litwiller.
"My dad told me that I needed to get my degree first. I needed to finish my education, then if I wanted to come back home to work on the farm I could," Litwiller said.
Litwiller first attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and then transferred to Fort Wayne Bible College where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education.
