The annual Kids Against Hunger campaign will be boosted again this year by people working in Wyneken Memorial Lutheran School north of Decatur.
An announcement said the event on Saturday, April 16, will have two shifts to pack more than 40,000 meals, two-thirds of which will go to needy people in Adams, Wells, and Allen counties. The other third will go to other countries.
The meals include rice, soy, vitamins, minerals, and dehydrated vegetables. An announcement from organizers of the event said the food mixture is easy and safe to transport, simple to make with only boiling water, and culturally acceptable worldwide."....
