When Cindy Cash set a special goal in a class one day; she didn't realize that her aspiration was more like a prophecy than a statement.
Cash was in a class with Brian Ison, who serves on the board of the John Jay Center. She made the statement, "some day I would like to run the John Jay Center for Learning."
When the position later opened, Ison suggested that Cash consider applying. She did and she was chosen for the position out of 39 applicants.
"God has always put me where I need to be," said Cash. "It's a God-thing. When I worked at the Jay County Hospital, it was during a time when my parents had health issues....
