Huntington County Tab:
Upgrades to the security of the Huntington County Courthouse were on the table again during the Huntington County Commissioners' meeting on Monday, March 21.
Sheriff Terry Stoffel, who is leading research into improved courthouse security, discussed recommendations made by the U.S. Marshals' Office to beef up protection for county employees. Stoffel's next step is to form a committee of public officials and law enforcement members to devise a plan for the upgrades.
"There's a lot of things that need to be done that won't cost money, and there's some things that will cost money," Stoffel said.
