FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - One year ago, an earthquake rocked Haiti to its core. Today, there are still people in Fort Wayne working to help the Haitians recover.
The Malmstrom family is making a huge sacrifice to lend a helping hand. They’re moving to the Caribbean country for an entire year.
"It really had to be an individual decision and a family decision,” said Liz Malmstrom, a registered nurse at Lutheran Health Network. “We all agreed as a family that if one person didn't feel quite right about it we wouldn't do it because it's such a big change.”...(more)
