East Allen Times:
Washington, DC – Congressman Marlin Stutzman voted today for a 5% cut to Congress. This budget cut will apply to all Leadership Offices, Committees and to Member’s offices. By voting for this resolution Congressman Stutzman has helped to cut $35 million from the 2011 budget alone.
“Cutting the budget for my own office is just the start, this is only a beginning to the spending cuts in Congress.” Stutzman said “We must find a way to stop the growth of the deficit and bring federal spending under control. I look forward to working with Chairman Ryan, as the Budget Committee takes on the responsibility of bringing non-security spending to 2008 levels.”....
