Leak in Salamonie pool takes out several home HNHS swim meets

A leak in the Salamonie School pool, where Huntington North High School holds its home swim meets, means that the Vikings will likely not host any more meets this season.

An investigation is under way to find the cause of the leak.

In the meantime, HNHS canceled meets it was to have hosted on Jan. 10 and 12; a Jan. 8 meet, also scheduled as a home meet, was moved to Muncie Central. HNHS was working with Wabash High School to see if that school could host the meet between HNHS and Wabash scheduled for today, Jan. 13, at Salamonie, athletic department secretary Jill Landrum said....
