East Allen Times:
FORT WAYNE - According to the Allen County Sheriff's Department, a semi carrying 8,470 live chickens overturned on U.S. 27 South, near the I-469 overpass around 2:00 Sunday afternoon.
The truck is currently overturned on the ramp to enter I-469 West from U.S. 27 South.
Police are still working to determine exactly how the accident happened and how to transport all the chickens, which were on the way to be processed....
