Weston Close wrestling tourney set for Dec. 30

Huntington North High School will host the seventh annual Weston Close Memorial Wrestling Classic on Thursday, Dec. 30, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Teams from Huntington North, Logansport, Eastbrook, Snider, Woodlan, Columbia City, Noblesville, Marion, Southern Wells and West Noble high schools will participate.

Teams will be divided into two pools and each wrestler will compete in four matches in his pool and then compete for final tournament placing against his counterpart in the opposite pool. Scoring will follow NFHS procedures. Weigh-in is at 7:30 a.m....
