Fort Wayne in running for $230M GM investment

FORT WAYNE - General Motors Co. is considering investing as much as $230 million in its Fort Wayne Assembly Plant, WANE-TV reported.

This week, Allen County leaders will consider a request for a tax abatement to help persuade GM to choose the Fort Wayne facility.

The money would be used to prepare for the next generation of pickups and to help retain jobs.....
