Grimm to step up as new chief at Berne Fire Department

For the past 11 years, Bill Grimm has spent his time learning everything possible about being a good firemen. He has also been dedicated as a mechanic which allowed him to become familiar with fire trucks and equipment. Now, as of the evening of Jan. 4, 2011, Grimm will take his knowledge and skills to the office of Berne City Fire Chief.
Grimm will succeed Art Nussbaum, who opted to step down after 12 years of service at the helm of the local department. Nussbaum will, however, continue to serve as a member of the local department.....
