A costume parade through downtown Huntington will be followed by safe trick-or-treating as Huntington's Downtown Business Group sponsors its sixth annual Great Pumpkin Festival.
It's one of several Halloween events scheduled around the county.
Events get under way in downtown Huntington on Thursday, Oct. 28, when The Rusty Dog Irish Pub, located just south of the railroad tracks on Jefferson Street, opens its doors from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for "Dining Downtown for Main Street." Bill Hancher, a past chief of the Flint Springs Tribe, will be the host for the evening. All gratuities will benefit Main Street Huntington downtown revitalization projects....
