Mood at covered bridge hearing optimistic but cautious

John Mann, a member of the South Adams School Board laughs when he recalls his first memories of the Ceylon Covered Bridge. Mann remembers that that there was a large hump at the time on the west side of the bridge. When the school bus in which he was riding approached the bridge, he and his friends would take the very back seats so that when they went over the bump, they would be jolted up in the air out of their seats.....
