Murals on ceilings and walls of county courthouse to be documented by group

The Huntington County Courthouse will soon have its murals on the ceilings and walls of the building documented once a contract is awarded to an interested company.

The project is funded by a Historic Preservation Fund Grant from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources's Division of Historic Preservation and Archaeology, and a grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Cathy Wright, representative for Indiana Landmarks's North Central Field Office, says the project will document any decorations, including most ceilings and other murals, through methods such as pictures and tracings....
