Adams Central took care of business Thursday night in the opening round of Sectional 37 (2A) Volleyball play, handling Bluffton in straight games, 25-10, 25-11, and 25-13.
Senior Hali Wendel was her dominant self,, whacking in 18 kills with two blocks and 12 digs, and setter Alyssa Keller was busy with 30 assists, eight digs and five kills, plus an ace and a block.
"The girls played well tonight. That's the most hustle I've seen out of this group, though I haven't seen all the games," stated assistant coach Katie Sprunger, subbing in for her sister, head coach Jeremi Schortgen.....
