BERNE—Adams Central got back on the winning track in volleyball Thursday night traveling to the Stardome to extract a 25-17, 27-25, 25-14 triumph from the South Adams Starfires in ACAC competition.
The Jets, now 12-7 on the year and 4-2 in ACAC play, rode the hitting of Hali Wendel who finished with 19 kills, two aces, two blocked shots and 12 digs. Bess Fiechter also had a big night for the Jets with 17 digs and eight kills while Alyssa Keller played her usual steady game with 26 assists, 12 digs, three kills, and two aces. Sarah Soldner led the Jets in digs with 19 and added a pair of assists to go with three kills.
Other Jet contributers included Abby Snyder with eight digs, four assists, two aces, and a kill, Alexa Baller with seven digs and an ace, Chelsie Eads with four kills and digs and one solo block, and Jenae Blackburn with one ace and dig.....
