Decatur Daily Democrat:
Decatur and Adams County were about back to normal today — normal being amid huge piles of snow — albeit on the frigid side.
School systems were in operation on normal schedules for the first time since Monday and all weather code alerts have been called off. Adams County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) Director John August announced at noon Thursday that the county was "back to normal operations."
Street/Sanitation Superintendent Jeremy Gilbert said this morning that trash pickup "is back on schedule." There was no collection on Wednesday, so two days of trash was picked up on Thursday.....
