Just when Adams County residents thought that they were going to get a weekend breather from the bad weather of the past week, Mother Nature pulled a surprise on the county and the National Weather Service by dumping between four and six inches of snow on the area during several hours of heavy snow through midday on Saturday.
Originally the National Weather Service (NWS) had predicted less than an inch of snow for Saturday, but that all started to change on Saturday morning when steady snow built into the area and continued to increase in intensity.
