Light bulb savings doesn't work out

Decatur Daily Democrat:

Steve Krull, the county's buildings and facilities manager, reported to the county commissioners on Monday that 94 40-watt light bulbs were recently replaced by 94 one-watt LED bulbs in the chandeliers at the courthouse.
He said the old bulbs were replaced to save money, since the LED bulbs are supposed to last 30,000 hours each....
