Geneva Town Council opened its Tuesday night meeting with a public hearing to pass an ordinance making an additional appropriation of $25,000 to the rainy day fund. At the end of 2009, unused funds from the general fund and motor vehicle fund were transferred to the rainy day fund. It has been determined that it is necessary to appropriate an additional $25,000 to the annual budget.
