Rumble strips planned for U.S. 30, S.R. 205

COLUMBIA CITY - State transportation officials plan to add rumble strips at a dangerous intersection along U.S. 30.

State Senator Jim Banks, from Columbia City, prompted a recent Indiana Department of Transportation study of crashes at 30 and State Road 205.

In the past five years, there were 46 crashes: one person was killed and 14 others seriously hurt. In all, 24 of the reported crashes were rear-end collisions and 21 of those occurred on U.S. 30....
