Berne Tri Weekly News:
South Adams went from three points up to eight points down in a span of 2:37 at the end of the first half and never regained its footing as it lost to Eastbrook 72-57 Saturday night in varsity boys’ basketball at the Stardome.
The Starfires (5-14) took their first lead on a score by Dustin Wanner with 3:48 left in the second quarter and extended that lead to 25-22 when Taylor LeFever put in a rebound basket a minute later.
Ronny Morrell, who led Eastbrook with 28 points, quickly answered with a basket that keyed an 11-0 run by the Panthers to finish the first half and put South Adams in a 33-25 hole.....
