Decatur Daily Democrat:
Conditions were mostly on hold in Decatur and Adams County today as everyone waits to see what happens in the next 48 or so hours.
"Not a lot has changed. Everything that was closed yesterday is still closed today," Decatur Street/Sanitation Superintendent Jeremy Gilbert said early this morning.
The US 224/Jackson St. area remained closed this morning and while E. Monroe St. was passable, Gilbert said nighttime travelers on the street should use extreme caution. "There are some icing issues there; (where water is over the road) it gets very slick."
The ice was salted around 5 a.m. today, he noted.....
