School board interviews possible new members; selection to be made July 19

Three candidates for Rick Brubaker's third district seat on the Huntington County Community School Corporation Board of School Trustees took the hot seat on Monday, July 12, for interviews to determine who will take over representation of the southern end of the county.

Joe Wiley, the corporation's attorney, moderated the 10-question, 25-minute interviews for Chod Boxell, Rex Sisson and Mike Trout. The questions included how willing the candidates are regarding the position's time commitment, strengths and weaknesses of the corporation, how the candidate would deal with their district's concerns and the candidate's priorities for the corporation and individually.
