For 87-year-old Bill Ringger, there was no question about the success of Tuesday night’s 4-H Parade in Monroe. It was, “the best as they come.”
“We have a lot of family out here. I wouldn’t miss it for anything,” said Ringger, who along with his wife Marge, don’t remember how many fairs and parades they have attended.
“We went to different fairs back when we were dating and we’ve been married for 65 years; that says something,” said Ringger. “Of course, we used to go to the Bluffton fair a lot when we were younger.”
The Ringgers, who live southwest of Monroe, were caught up in this year’s event due to the involvement of grandchildren in the Adams County 4-H program....
