Berne Tri-Weekly News:
The North Adams School Board announced the retirement of Bellmont High School Athletic Director Frank Montgomery during the December meeting on Tuesday night. His retirement will take effect at the end of the current school year.
Montgomery has held this position for seven years.
North Adams Superintendent Wylie Sirk said that job opening will post in January.
