The last Decatur City Council meeting of the year was also the last meeting for long-time Decatur city employee Bob Ladd, who has decided to retire after a 42-year career.
Ladd, who has served six different Decatur mayors, was the force behind the city utilities billing and auditing department for more than four decades.
Decatur Mayor John Schultz presented Ladd with a proclamation, stating that, “I, Mayor John Schultz and members of Decatur City Council do hereby express our sincere appreciation and thanks to Bob for his many years of service.” (more)
