A former outstanding athlete of South Adams High School died on Tuesday as a result of a shooting in Wells County.
Amy Meyer, age 28, a 1999 graduate of South Adams, died at Bluffton Regional Medical Center as a result of a shooting at 0649 East 100 South.
Wells County Sheriff Bob Frantz said that his department was summoned to the residence at 9:22 a.m. Tuesday morning where they found Meyer laying on the floor of the garage with two bullet holes in her chest.
