CFS to start taking phone calls for energy assistance program on Sept. 7

Community and Family Services Inc. will start accepting calls on Sept. 7 for appointments to be scheduled for the upcoming Energy Assistance Program that begins on Oct. 5.

This heating assistance program helps income-eligible households with an energy burden with a one-time credit on the heat and electric utility bills. The program is scheduled to run through May 13, 2011, or until funds are depleted....
