Fund-raising to begin for new playground equipment

Ron Dull, Berne City Councilman and a member of the Lehman Park board, has noted that a fundraiser designed to energize a park donation fund will be held on Saturday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the local park. The event will feature a fall harvest festival complete with arts and crafts, kids games, vendors of all types and plenty of good fall food. Should the day be rainy, the festival will use Oct. 16 as a rain date.....
