Dairy’s new owner pledges new approach in meeting with Huntington County Commissioners

After a local dairy farm caused controversy in the past several years over the farm's environmental stewardship, the farm's new owner approached the Huntington County Commissioners on Monday, Aug. 2, pledging a new approach to the farm's management.

Johan De Groot, the son of the dairy's former owner, Johannas De Groot, said he will work to take care of the environment around the farm and be a good neighbor to the county residents living in the area.
