James Edward Beitler Sr.
James Edward Beitler Sr., 89, a resident of Berne, died on Friday, November 6, 2009 at Adams Memorial Hospital.
He was born on May 3, 1920, to Hugo and Gertrude (Hirschy) Beitler. A graduate of Berne High School, he served in the United States Army Special Forces from 1942–1946. He was employed by the U.S. Post Office for 39 years and worked at Moser Sales for 10 years.
