Adams considers elected school board

...An informal straw poll was conducted outside the North Adams Community Schools' administration building on Monday evening, asking visitors headed to a special school board meeting to state their preference for either an elected school board or an appointed one. The results of the poll, headed up by Our Children, Our Future committee spokesman Charlie Brune (right), showed overwhelming support for an elected school board.
