South Adams made up for a rough offensive start with its defense, holding Daleville to three points or fewer in all four quarters and posted a 23-11 victory in the debut of head coach Brandon Bradley.
The Starfires (1-0) trailed until 4:45 remained in the first quarter, taking a 4-3 lead on a score by Lyndsey Chandler. Daleville (0-1) was able to tie the score at 4-4 early in the second quarter, but South Adams went back in front on another Chandler basket and never trailed again....
