Adams County jobless rate dips to 9.1%

The jobless rate in Adams County continued its downward trend in October.
According to statistics released Tuesday by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, the county's unemployment rate dipped to 9.1 percent last month, down from 9.4 percent in September and 9.9 percent in August.
Adams County began 2010 with an unemployment rate of 11.8 percent in January. The number has fallen slowly but steadily throughout the year — with the exception of June jobless figures, which showed a slight increase over the previous month.....
