Schenkel hot but Lady Vikings not in hoop loss to Snider

Kayla Schenkel's career-high 22 points wasn't nearly enough for the Huntington North High School girls' basketball team as it lost to visiting Fort Wayne Snider, 68-51, on Tuesday, Nov. 23.

Schenkel, a senior, hit 10 of 12 shots from the field, but the rest of the Lady Vikes combined for just 12 out of 41 shooting - including 0 for 11 from 3-point range - as they dropped to 2-2 on the season.

Liesl Davenport scored 12 points in support of Schenkel and also had a team high seven rebounds....
