City to consider financial help for planned fertilizer terminal

Members of the Huntington Common Council will be asked to approve a grant from the city to Helena Chemical to help pay for infrastructure improvements at the company's planned new facility on Beaty Drive.

The proposal will be presented to council members at their meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 6:45 a.m. The meeting will be held in the mayor's conference room, on the third floor of the City Building in Huntington.

The proposal calls for Helena Chemical to receive a grant of up to $200,000 from city CEDIT funds.....
